A couple of huhs?? or so whats?

The Great Hooded One has taken notice. Bill Belichick had Brady take a knee — twice!!! — in the final minute of the first half of the most recent Ravens game rather than run a play.
But otherwise - he had one point that you can agree or not (Brady overthinking - analogy to target shooting)

It is impossible for us to get inside TB's head; so we are all guessing. Personally I think there are just too many variables to blame it on one thing over 5 different seasons. I think some years its OL, sometimes its Toms injuries, sometimes its psych recovery from Pollardization, maybe sleeping in wrong smoke smelling hotel, maybe too much time with Gisele.

This is the biggest pile of crap I've ever read. Im so tired of this mentality that a guy who has a 16-5 playoff record and has just taken the Patriots to another Super Bowl somehow has a problem. Joe Montana lost 7 playoff games. I guess he went soft under pressure.

Possibly the most misguided Football article I ever read.

Also, I think the Pats will win the Super Bowl every year, that has not changed.

Finally, the guy who wrote this is a moron and I don't like name calling.

We shall see. Tom has had bad playoff games in those super bowl seasons. His San Diego game was pretty bad, Colts games weren't great. He has yet to have a bad super bowl, and Tom seems to play that much better when his reputation is on the line. I think the thing that excites me the most is that Eli is the guy everyone is talking about. Tom is really only discussed as a bullseye for that unblockable D-line.

Usually we have the Silly Season on the Board between the end of the Draft/FA period and the start of Training Camp, but this is Super Bowl Week and the Pats are playing!

This thread rates a big:

COME ON MAN!

Remember when Peyton Manning was 9-8 all time in the playoffs, with worse numbers than Brady, going into only his second SuperBowl? There was nothing but Manning ballwashing in the weeks leading up to the game. No one said a word about his previous playoff shortcomings, or how he had the worst postseason performance of any quarterback to ever win a SuperBowl (3 TD, 7 INT in 2006). This is such bull****, seriously.

That's the difference in perception between the 1st overall pick and the 199th pick. One was destined; the other guy, they are still trying to find a way that this all makes sense, that they did not make a mistake by completely overlooking him. Instead, they're trying to find ways to explain the success as due to anything but Brady.

How did one of the greatest clutch big-game performers ever to play become a playoff mediocrity? Maybe even a liability.
how?

If I could do anything to help the Patriots win the Super Bowl (and don’t put it past me), I would have a sports psychologist move in with Brady and the supermodel missus.
Sounds cheap even for sarcasm.
