I get PO'd all the time when I hear analysts berate our Pats....

....I just don't start threads about my little hurt feelings.

I've never been a believer in political correctness....so toughen up if you don't like it. Any other emotionally sensitive football fans out there?

Shannon may not be eloquent, but at least his thoughts make sense. At least what he says is apropos to the topic being discussed. Even when he's been critical of the Patriots, I follow his train of thought with little difficulty.

Chris Carter is just a blathering idiot when he talks. There have been many times that I've struggled to follow what his point is regarding a subject matter, whether it has anything to do with the Pats or not. He tries to sound profound, but he often just makes himself sound stupid.

But Shannon is much easier and funner to make fun of. It's kind of a football Sunday tradition with my group of friends to bust out a SS imitation when he's talking.

And I'm entitled to an opinion of Cris Carter. What's your point?

all I have to say is haters haters everywhere. every has an opinion. the game in the regular season was a last second win by Giants. to laugh at either teams chances is just plain ridiculous. i mean they are both playing great right now

Put it this way... most analysts are a bunch of bitter *****es who never won **** when they played the game.

And if they did win ****, they're still pissed that someone was better than them.

Pro athletes are the ultimate competitors, and it sticks with them on the set too.

Tom Jackson - The only ring he has is from being a half-decent Denver Bronco for a few years. Still bitter that Belichick made him look like a fricken moron for 20 weeks in a single season.
Cris Carter - His kicker Cundiff'd his only Super Bowl chance. And, a former Patriot... Randy Moss surpassed all of his stats.
Marshall Faulk - Tom Brady and the Patriots beat them in the Super Bowl

The list goes on....

Kurt Warner is probably the best analyst out there. Probably because he was the ultimate professional throughout his career. These other guys? Yeah, not so much.

I made mine while not attacking anyone, including the OP. Good day, sir.

Man, how I love overblown reactions to benign posts.

A Giants fan I work with said the Giants will win easily.

I cried all the way home.

Don't see why this is a big deal. I'd be far more upset if he picked the Pats to win.
