Welker in full beast mode: more records set
Today, Welker did a number of things:
- He became the first WR ever to record four 110-catch seasons.
- He moved within 10 receptions of Troy Brown's career franchise record, and within 10 of his own single-season franchise record.
- He moved into a tie for fourth all-time with his 14th 10-reception game. [And, remarkably the NEP are 12-2 when he does; Jerry Rice, who had an NFL record of 17(!) such games, saw his team go 8-9(!) when he did.]
- He broke Randy Moss' franchise record of 1,493 receiving yards set in 2007; he has 1,518 with one game to go.
