Not the worst piece of sports writing I've seen, but it makes for a better post on a messageboard than being on the "Worldwide Leader of Sports" website. Maybe it should had been a "Page 2" article, as should most of this tragic attempts to produce writing worth reading.

---

I knew I loved Adrian Wilson and had dreams about him in the Patriots secondary, but I didn't know it was because he played with the same edge that Harrison does. I guess Merriweather, at best, will be the same as Adrian Wilson, so I can forget that dream.

Sure, I am not surprised that Harrison lead the vote count. It can't hurt that he is on a team that is constantly getting publicity for everything from winning to cheating. When do you hear about the Titans and Kevin Mawae?

My list goes more like this:

1. Kevin Mawae
2. Roy Williams (only horsecollars because he sucks in coverage)
3. Rodney Harrison/Adrian Wilson: true football players!

Hines Ward got a vote?!?!??! Because he run blocks?

Seriously, who really cares? These types of votes are useless. Reputations and reality aren't neccessarily the same. How many times do you see a player make the Pro Bowl when he has a crappy year and many times that player doesn't lead the fan voting at all and gets in primarily because of player and coaching voting.

WOOHOO! Ward Got Votes!!! You go kid!

seriously...if ESPN wasn't showing highlights of Harrison hitting people since he started in the league with I think the Chargers, he wouldn't be getting these votes.

The fact it doesn't go to the entire Raiders organization tells you how far out of the spot light that Franchise has fallen over the years.

Notice only 17 coaches responded to this, how much you want to bet that BB didn't respond to this retarded poll. Which makes me wonder, what kind of head coach would reply to this?

That means there are 21 coaches that appreciate the awesomeness of Rodney. And, 11 crybabies.

I pretty surprised that Mawae didn't get more votes, and that none of the Denver O-line got any votes, the way they like to roll up on knees.

The fact that Rodney is legitimately a cheater now (HGH) probably didn't help him in the votes department.

I will try and guess the 11 coaches. This sounds like fun, lets do that.
-Herm Edwards
-Tony Dungy
-Jeff Fischer
-Mike Tomlin
-Brian Billick
-Marvin Lewis?
-Jack Del Rio ?
-Andy Reid ?
-Mike Shanahan? (Champ Bailey said Rodney was dirty)

who else?

The Herminator was the first guy I thought of as well. I like this game. Here's my other 10:

Norv Turner
Wade Phillips
Tony Dungy
Al Davis filled out Lane Kiffin's for him
Marvin Lewis
Mangini
Del Rio
Shanahan
Holmgren
Gary Kubiak

You have to include Brian Billick in any list regarding Rodney being the dirtiest player in the NFL for this reason alone:

I love Rodney and I personally believe he's been nothing less than a savior for the defense at times, but you have to admit there were a few moments last year where he was getting out of hand with his late hits on the pile.

I can recall at least two moments where he just blatantly threw himself at someone in the pile well after the whistle. Didn't Belichick bench him late in the game at one point after he drew an obvious personal foul on special teams?
