Looks to me unless things change dramatically, this may be a team that can win on the road vs. teams that are Mediocre and without a good Quarterback (Moore/Campbell) and lose on the road vs. teams with a good to Elite QB (Roethlisberger/Fitzpatrick)

2-2 On the road thus far

2 Wins on the road vs. Opponents with a total combined record of 4-10
2 Losses on the road vs. Opponents with a total combined record of 11-4

Going to be tough to win a Super Bowl if things don't change on the Road,especially IF the team gets to the playoffs.

A continuation of this would mean a likely 2-2 road mark the rest of the way with wins against Washington and Denver (losing records + Tebow/Grossman)
and losses against the Jets and Philadelphia (Eagles should have a winning record by then although neither Vick or Sanchez is very good this year)

A 12-4 mark is what most of us thought it would be anyway,but that of course means NO losses at home.

Flawed analysis.
Aside from our game Buff 4-2, Pitt 5-2 Raiders 4-2.
If we lost to the Raiders and beat Pitt and Buff then you could be saying the only team we didnt beat was the one with the best record.

It's hard to win on the road against good teams, period. Always has been.

In the Brady/BB era, the Pats have played 4 playoff games on the road (not counting the neutral-site Super Bowls):

1. 2001 AFCCG: Played a Steelers team with a *very flawed* QB in Kordell Stewart.

2. 2004 AFCCG: Played a Steelers team with a *very flawed* 2004 rookie edition of Ben Roethlisberger (should have never made it past the NYJ the week earlier).

3. 2006 DIV: Gutted out a great win vs. 14-2 San Diego, assisted by one of the biggest coaching mismatches since SB36 with Marty Schottenheimer suddenly deciding to go Anti-Martyball in the 2nd half despite LT ripping of huge chunks of yardage on the left side any time he wanted. And let's not forget the ridiculous pick on 4th down (bat the ball down, guy) in which Troy Brown forced the fumble and helped extend the season one more game.

4. 2006 AFCCG: Had a nightmare 2nd half, ousted by Peyton Manning.

That's two wins vs. bad QBs, one win vs. a team that helped the Pats out a lot and a loss vs. an elite QB.

Let's hope the Pats are playing at home this January, no matter what talent they're fielding on D.

I knew I missed one, thanks. I think the Pats had a ton of turnovers in that game and gave Denver some short fields for easy TDs either by those turnovers or questionable PI calls.

Don't have to do any number crunching to realize it's hard to win games against good teams on the road in the NFL.

This is why 16-0 was very impressive.
