The difference between Bill and Charlie is Bill gets to draft players and sign free agents using money as a motivator. Charlie has to recruit players. Casting doubt on Charlie's skills is actually a detriment for him to get players and win games. It has no impact at all on Bill.

I know he keeps declining the chance to talk about it (maybe Bill doesn't want him to) but I could see Charlie opening up about this at some point in the not too distant future.

I'd like to see Stevie Wonder Young get all the side line vids he wanted
in the first half of any game and use them to predict defenses by that same team some weeks later.

iam not sure why florio or anyone doesnt call out young for his "game over" sentiment which is so stupid coming from a hall of fame nfl player who fails to understand that no one can plan a game just be looking at signals of opposing teams. BB said that so emphatically in his interview which made us realize how stupid this whole business was which someone like young doesnt get or want to get.
I want him to say brady wouldnt have won without the signals but he wont because the media has more weis and BB bashers than brady,

See, this is where I don't understand our logic sometimes and it's a point where fans from other teams laugh at us. On one hand, we say Walsh is a lier and a thief and that you absolutely cannot trust him. On the other hand, when Walsh says the tapes weren't used like that, we take his word for it. Can someone explain this logic to me because I can't trust Walsh no matter what he says... no matter if the comments do or do not swing in our favor.

Young never liked us. He has been spewing Patriot hatred since BB took over the team. Evidently it all goes back o the comment BB made on his rather facing Young than Montana. But BB was right, Young was a terrific, hard nosed quarterback, but Montana was one of the best ever. Sorry but there is no contest.

Why would Walsh lie in favor of the Patriots?

ironically the pats started to blow out teams only after spygate ended. Before we used to just win by 3 points sometimes and steve young claims "game over" because of the signals. i dont know why we struggled and fought so hard to win those games in the past. we shouldve gotten steve young out of retirement since he couldve finished those games for us with the supposed tape much easily.

Steve Young was a nobody before Bill walsh showed him how to read a defense...

And Dan Patrick has a show, I guess I dont pay attention to him anymore..

because it's common sense that the tapes were not used at halftime. halftime is only twelve minutes. not long enough to decipher 30 mins of tape. besides, if they were used at halftime, why would they tape the second half ?

Because Walsh has an ax to grind with the Patriots. He lied to make himself look more important than he was, he HAD to tell the truth or else he would lose his imdemnification and he revealed that he turned the tapes in after the game. When he talked to Goodell he had to come clean and be honest, the lying was done when there were no repurcussions.
His HBO interview was a lot of his opinion and conjecture, you could tell he doesnt have a lot of football knowledge but tried to come across like he does.
