Re: Eric Mangini: The Rat of All Rats
With Roger Goodell taking away draft picks for something like tampering - which we all know the Jets have done - there is no way that another owner will ever allow someone like MangIdiot in his organization.
He made it clear by blowing the whistle on the Patriots that as soon as he leaves the Jets organization he'll blow the whistle on them to give himself an advantage (like causing the Jets to lose draft picks).
No other owner will put themselves at risk by letting MangIdiot anywhere near them.
MangIdiot did his damage by taking away the Pat's #31 pick and spuring them to go 16-0 - but he's also likely ensured that this is the LAST job he'll ever have in the NFL.
What goes around, comes around - and indeed the Jets are already feeling that. The Jets were tied with 3 other teams with a 4-12 record.
But because they had a strength of schedule that was .007 worse than the Falcons, they picked 6th instead of 3rd, and had to settle for their 3rd choice in the draft rather than their first choice.
And what made a .007 strength of schedule difference for the Jets? The fact that they played a 16-0 team twice last season (undefeated, thanks to MangIdiot).
