I never bash the patriots over a loss, but lets be honest the pats D is going to give up some points, which means that the Brady is going to be throwing all year just like the last few games. We also know that for some reason they are really not going to run the ball even if they are winning by a few scores. I think all of that translates into a ton of TD...I also think this may translate into more pics than we normally see from Brady. (Hopefully that part is wrong though)

Any team plays to their strengths.. and the Patriots are no different.

Could their Defense be better, of course, but with Brady at the helm that is where we will place most of our assets.

In fairness to the Colts (who I hate), they did win a Super Bowl in the mid decade (2006). Just saying

Ironically they won that super bowl because of defense. Bob Sanders went on a freakin rampage that playoff run. Maybe Pat Chung will be our Bob Sanders. I'd be happy with one more super bowl (for a while) .

Pats defenses always get better throughout the year and in the second half of the season. This has been the trend for the past 3-4 years

Defense usually wins champisonships. Just sayin'.

Brady could throw for only 20 td's.....I don't care about the individual accolades. Just bring me a championship. Screw gaudy records. I want the trophy.

You expect 34 yr old Brady to keep up with projected 709 Pass attempts this season and somehow be able to match his 2007 stats ?

His avg year in his 9 full seasons is 533 attempts, 11.4 int's. So far he has 133 attempts. So, basically you expect him to throw 39 TD's and 9 ints in 576 more attempts over 13 games

@ 50 TD This would mean 3TD/game throwing to couple trio of 30 something WR's, a TE, and another TE who is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

Wow, you sure do have some lofty thoughts.
At the rate Brady is throwing his arm will be a wet noodle by week 12, provided he does not get injured trying to have 200+ more pass attempts than last year which would equate to passing attempts of 5 more games vs his avg season.
