Thumbs up More NFL players think Brady is the man to build a team around

Quote:
A Sports Illustrated poll asked 272 NFL players, “Who would you pick first if you were building a team from scratch?” Brady came in first, with 24 percent of the votes. Peyton Manning came in second, with 18 percent
Pretty sure Suggs did not vote for Brady ..........

I thought they all wanted to play with Michael Vick...

Reminds me of the time back in 2006 when Felger opined that Brady was aging and Palmer was the guy to build your franchise around...

You might want to change your thread title. It's not a majority, it's a plurality. He got the most votes, but he didn't get a straight majority.
QuickOutGo and Criptonite like this.

Palmer was "oh so trendy" back then. Nimwit Felgie picked just the wrong time to jump on that horse. But once again the savvy career focused mediot got the outrage and attention he desired.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH

There is a media hysteric I avoid if at all possible.. he Borges and a few others have made mucho bucks as resident contrarians.

Soon they will all be shytting on BB for getting rid of Meriweather, but if you go into the way back machine(last year) they were all over Meriweather.. their hindsight is 20-10.
