Ridley got a few carries this week. I could see him taking a good chunk away from BJGE as the season progresses. He's a more impressive runner from what I've seen. If he can hold on to the ball he'll be a more productive back in this offense.

I think there are a few players on this team that could be considered under the radar (even some that at first might seem the opposite):
Ridley - As you mentioned, he looked pretty good in his pair of carries, and as the weather gets colder I think we'll start to see a shift towards the run, and thus more carries to spread out amongst the backs. Throw in a minor injury or two, and he'll get some opportunities to make a splash.
Ocho - At first you might think, "How is he UNDER THE RADAR!?" and you'd be right, he's as high profile as it gets. But no one has really had to worry about him yet. If he starts to ramp it up more as he gets it, he'll make some big impacts in games until teams are forced to pay him more attention.
Bodden - I think because his injury was above the waste people have been expecting him to jump in and be just like he was in 2009. But anytime you're away from the game for a year, it takes some time to get your rhythm back. I think after the bye week, we'll really see him get his game together and start looking like the Leigh of two years ago.
Running backs get dinged up all of the time. I think we'll see him make some key contributions in those games. I don't see him beating out BJGE though. Law Firm gets positive yardage, nose for the end zone and doesn't fumble. Perfect back to close a game out. No need to change that. I think we'll see Vereen before the year is over too. Even though they play the same position. I see Ridley as a backup to BJGE. Similiar skill set. And, I see Vereen(If he can block) as Woodhead's backup. We're very young there and also have quality depth(it appears only saying appears because they're rookies).

I'm hoping ocho can really shine eventually. I'm hoping anyway.
Yes, Bodden's injury was above his "waste" but isn't that unnecessarily graphic?

I don't see BJGE as a clock killer by any strech. I would love to see if Ridley can get in and pound it before we face the Jets. We need a back and OL that can move the ball on the ground to take the pressure off Brady!

I really hope we see more of Ridley soon too, he looked real good in the preseason. About to duct tape his name on my asante samuel jersey .

EDIT: I have no idea why a 'thumbs down' icon got attached to this post.
