Default Butch Stearns: Pats close to Ty Law deal; Law prefers Pats over Jets

Moderator's note: Skip the Dave Briggs hype, go to post 29

...

Surely it can't be Kenny Smith.

Seau is the first thought...

Briggs was just on at the end of Fox 25's 10 PM newscast, and said that there is "breaking news that a former Patriot could be back in Foxboro...more at 11."

...Ty Law?!?!

Hard to call Seau a "former patriot" though...that would imply he left and came back...but since he never went anywhere, I can't see that being the verbiage...hope I'm wrong but we'll see...

Jonathan Sullivan?

no but Ty Law is a good guess.

At first i thought Seau, but if it was Seau, you would think they would word that sentence differently....

Sports should be coming up in about 10 minutes or so.

I'll let you know then. In the meantime, I'll continue to monitor Reiss' Pieces and PFT.

OH BABY!

Briggs just said a "Former Patriot may provide the answer for the Patriots' secondary questions."

After the commercial, baby. I can smell Ty Law a mile away.
