Great stuff. He sounds like he should excel in our system and IMO will most likely be the starting CB opposite Hobbs next season.

I love how national draft "experts" have us pegged at taking CB at #7 and speak of our secondary as if its devoid of any talent. There are 3 players with starting experience on the roster right now (Hobbs, Bryant, Webster). We enter the draft at a position of strength in reference to CB and with the ability to draft hoping for the long term, not fill short term needs.

Drilling down to the core, isn't that, at the end of the day, where most games are won and lost in the NFL?

Now, of course, in a few of them, one team will go ahead by four points with two minutes left, and the other team will be forced to try for a touchdown and so you need to get off the field on fourth down. Hopefully Bryant will be good there too!

The fact that he calls himself a system guy and prides himself in being in the right place at the right time only makes his previous experience with Capers more important. Bryant may be more familiar with the new direction of our secondary than our vets.
