Well, Pats fans like Double G. I'm pretty sure that ctpatsfan77 was being sarcastic in his post.

"Well, Pats fans like Double G. I'm pretty sure that ctpatsfan77 was being sarcastic in his post."

I'm not happy the Patriots lost to an inferior team in the Super Bowl and that makes me a bad fan in your eyes? The Giants were annoyingly ****y going into the game, they should have been as they were playing with house money at that point.

If the Patriots had lost to the Cowboys, the #1 seed in the NFC, I'd feel better about it than them losing to the Giants, who needed win in week 16 just to get into the playoffs.

Thanks for throwing your .02 into the conversation, it really took the thread up a notch.

"Just so you guys know, this thread is why everyone hates Pats fans."

And the entire country just loves the Jets and their fleabrain fans; if you ever won the Super Bowl, the entire state of New Jersey would seize up, break away from the rest of the country and float into the Atlantic Ocean.

You guys are lower class versions of Yankee fans (if such a thing is even possible), so give it a rest.

That said, Mangenious is good people, I like his style. If the Jets ever did pull it off, I'd be happy for him because fans like him deserve a championship.

What's funny to me is that we give a damn either way.

Re: the super bowl, the best team in the NFL last year was the New York Giants. To coin a phrase, "You play to win the game." They won the game. Props to the Giants, don't be a wanker to the homers, give the G-men credit. Whose chances do I like this year? The Pats. That's saying something completely different. Man up and accept it, the Giants went out and won that game.

Now for the REALLY funny part... you need to see what skins fans wrote in to the Washington Post about it. Basically, he said every opener should be an NFC East game, because NFC East teams have huge followings... he mentioned NE is a little bit of a draw, ditto the Colts. But not like the NFC East. I wish WashingtonPost.Com didn't need registration, I'd find it and post it for a laugh.

That is pretty funny. Doesn't surprise me though. DC press are the biggest homers of all-time when it comes to the Skins. I was in college there during the Heath Shuler years, and they were able to even spin that into sunshine and bunny rabbits.

But as far as TV draws, there is Dallas, NE & everyone else.

Please accept the defeat like you should, instead of whining like some 3rd grader.
Yes, scoring in the final two minutes to take the lead after TWO blown defensive plays that would have locked up the game really is "beating up" the Patriots. Genius.

Hey, hey come on now The Great Fork; I know you're just a rookie and all, but get with the program and start acting like the Stepford fans that have set up shop here. Face it, we lost to a far superior team, they beat us on offense, defense, special teams, coaching, front office, scouting department, cheerleaders, classier fan base, nicer stadium, nicer city, better uniforms, better looking quarterback, you name it, they beat us.

Someday, you will look back on this defeat and come to understand the Giants were not the 13-6 team going into the game and the fifth seed in the NFC, they were in fact the 60's Packers, 70's Steelers, 80's 49ers and 90's Cowboys all rolled into one.

As a Patriots fan, you should just be happy we got there.

Look at how quicklly Vegas has installed the Giants as overhwhelming favorites for a return trip. I for one would be shocked if they didn't pull a fourpeat here and become the REAL team of the decade, a label they so richly deserve based on the Stepford fans opinions.
