Parcells isn't dumb... The Pats offer would have to be significantly better than any other team. Any tie or closeness would go the other teams.

Yes, but he is getting something ELSE in NY he can't get in Boston. Hint 34-24-34.

First of all, as for any "piece" he's getting, he's definitely getting it in New York.

Manhattan tends to be reasonably accommodating to celebrities, due to the simple fact that one sees so many of them in restaurants/clubs and even on the streets (in my years living in the City, I have seen on the street or sat next to in a restaurant a couple dozen high profile celebrities, including people like Paul Newman, and Keith Richards).

Unless they're a tween or teen heartthrob (I once saw Ricky Martin running for his life into a waiting car, with 15 teenage girls in close pursuit), they can generally get around unhassled. The unwritten rule seems to be that most celebs like to be recognized on the street (if they don't want to be seen they're behind dark limo windows), but people understand not to step into their physical space (asking for an autograph or asking them to stop for a photo are definitely not cool, so they were definitely tourists).

As for TB, Brady alone, after the SB loss, is probably considered a B/B+ celeb and doesn't cause a huge commotion anymore; Brady with Giselle is definitely an A list sighting. Had we won the SB and if his pass to Moss had stood up as the winning score, I think he'd probably have to be a little more careful.

By the way, that is not a bad thing for Brady, if it were True, but it seems Brady is hunted more now than ever and that is pre-Superbowl. Brady is on E! and Access Hollywood all the time it seems and his picture is all over the web blogs doing the most mundane of errands. He is living in NYC and even in that jungle he is getting hounded. Not good. He looks pretty pissed in most of the pics I have come across or have seen through my obsessed girlfriend!

As for Taylor coming to the Pats, it is very doubtful. For Parcells to trade him to the Pats, the Pats would have to offer the deal of the century.
After the Pats' trades for Welker and Moss last year, GM's around the league have to be like, "Umm.... n....no."
