It's obvious.

If the money is right, it might be a good idea.

At this point, Maroney is a much, much better back than Alexander is.

Maroney is a good RB not great but the problem lies with the battle at the OLine where they usually lose and stop Maroney before he can go anywhere

At the right price this could be awsome.

I like what Morris gave us before his injury but we are not talking about a perenial pro bowler and he is also recovering from an injury. When both are healthy Alexander is easily the better RB. Alexander is only a few seasons from being one of the best backs in the league and I would love to give him a chance to prove he still is.

at the very least he was. Injuries have slowed him the last few years. He could bounce back and be close to the same guy again, or he could still be better than Morris even at 80% or 90% of what he once was.

I think adding a good backup for Maroney is a good idea. Morris isn't known for his health and he isn't that good anyways.

You realize we'd be getting 2008 Shaun Alexander and not 2005 Shaun Alexander, right?

Maroney is in every way the superior back right now.

Alexander is D-O-N-E. Can't imagine what place he would have on this team. Unless he plans to replace Heath Evans role of hit-the-line-of-scrimmage-and-fall-down. While Alexander excelled at that last year, Evans pretty much has it down pat.
