I'm down here in Florida and watched the game from the Jacksonville perspective. Tony Boselli said, late in the game that this was definitely not a case of running up the score. He just said that Bill Belichick was trying to get a look at all of his young players in game situations and that they were effective in those situations. They did keep intimating that they felt, probably because Del Rio said it, that this is a "playoff team", and this score meant nothing...the latter of which is true. I don't know about playoffs....playoffs? What you talkin' 'bout...playoffs? Playoffs? They're just trying to win a game.

I'm sure someone, somewhere, be it a well known media hack or just some young punk trying to get clicks for the web site he runs out his parent's basement, is going to relate last night's game to running up the score...
A quick internet search shows that as of right now there is indeed at least one obscure fantasy football site throwing out that line. I'm actually somewhat surprised I didn't find more, but the day is still young.
I think if we wanted to run up the score, we could have easily put up at least one, maybe two more touchdowns, but we decided to let Medlin run out the clock. Jags should consider themselves lucky.
