The flip side is guys who are getting cut can be traded.

It's a dicey proposition to wait until someone is cut and sign.

Default Belichick a fan of Mankins, Fletcher & Anderson

It Is What It Is » Bill Belichick talks about performance vs. Jags, Logan Mankins’ new deal, Dane Fletcher and Mark Anderson

Things Belichick appears psyched about: Mark Anderson, @Dane_Fletcher, fundamentals, OTs Nate Solder and Steve Maneri, depth

FWIW it was amazing how far downfield Maneri was blocking last night on some of the running plays.

Can somebody tell me what Anderson did in the game to make BB think that?

Made most of his limited snaps on 3rd downs by getting good pressure constantly off the edge.

He got pressure on the qb almost every time he got put in at the beginning of the game. When it was in doubt. He beats out E. Moore on my 53. My 4 de's are S. Ellis, J. Cunningham, A. Carter and M. Anderson. 4 DT's. Vince and Fat Albert. M. Wright. M. Pryor and R. Brace. G. Warren could beat out Pryor or Brace.

Wow tough call on Anderson beating out Moore. But I have to give you credit, I went back and watched the first half of last nights game again. Anderson applied constant pressure on the QB, so maybe your onto something.

I didn't count or anything, but one of the guys at PatsPulpit credited Anderson with 8 hurries
