If the Super Bowl loss was bad, could this be worse
Moss signs with the Jags
Stallworth signs with Dallas
Gaffney signs with washington
Samual signs with the Jets
Bruschi and Seau - retire
And our big free agent signing will be Marty Booker
This would probably be considered a sucky offseason..
Not saying this will happen, but could..

That would be terrible. After all, if that happened, New England would only be favored to win the Super Bowl by about a field goal.
Come on, relax......

Just a thought, its hypothetical, and after last off season when were given the super bowl, you will hear drive by media saying, the pats are dead again.. Not saying all that will happen mr happy

Moss will stay in New England. At this point in his career, why bounce around to other teams? Moss had a career year with Tom Brady but he would rather play with Garard? If the Pats pass on Stallworth, I think he may end up in Dallas. I think the Pats will try hard to retain Gaffney. I could care less about Samuel, the Jets will still suck. I really wanted Seau to win a ring. At his age, it's so hard to stay healthy and he did. But he lost out on a potential superbowl ring and graduate again. Booker as the Pats only signing would indeed suck.
But yeah, it could happen. And I wouldn't be surprised. Good teams get dismantled sooner or later.

1.) Who gives a rat's ass what the media says?
2.) Even in a "worst case scenario", where Gay, Moss, Stallworth, Samuel and Gaffney sign elsewhere and Bruschi and Seau both retire New England is set at
QB
RB
OL
TE
DL
OLB
S
That leaves getting 1-2 ILBs and 2-3 DBs and say 2 WR. Now, at wide receiver, we've seen Tom Brady take a 1/2 combo of Caldwell and Gaffney to the AFCCG, so it's pretty clear that greatness is wanted, but not needed, at the WR spot.
Furthermore, and it's not as if there won't be any to 'lesser' ILBs, DBs or WRs to choose from in free agency. Then, there's the draft. The team has the #7 pick, their own picks in each round and the Raiders pick in the 3rd round. Even the doomsday scenario isn't all that bad. It's not worth panicking about in February, that's for sure.
