I'm kinda wondering the same thing...this would have been COMPLETELY different had he still been commish. This thing has been around the entire history of nfl, nothing more than a case of stealing signals (with the actual infraction not even about the stealing signals part) and the minute Goodell comes into office the nfl goes under this supposed "scandel". Way to drop the ball Goodell...

I'll bet he never would've taken away our first-round pick. It would've been a slap on the wrist and quickly forgotten.

I think this is important what you wrote. I was talking to a guy the other day and we were talking about this and he said that Tags was a p**** and hes the reason that the league is a mess right now. I was kind of dumbfounded by that. For me, its like the refs...I love watching a game when the refs let the players play the game...(ie AFCCG against SD this season). That was Tags. I hate watching games where the refs are overbearing and ultimately screw up the game. Goodell. I dont think Tags was a p****, just someone who had a love and understanding of the game. Cant stand Goodell. Cant wait till hes gone. Bring back football.

Scandal has been a depressing shadow over the league this year and Goodell's actions have a LOT to do with it. I hope he is goner soon.

Every day that Goodell is commissioner is a day too long. I miss Tags.

Seeing as the practices of spying were well known to be going on by Tagliabue's time, I doubt he's very judgmental
