i think that BB has handled this the only way he could.
anything (anything!) he says will just be fodder for more questions, more speculation and more criticism.
if this were a rational discussion in which two parties are trying to arrive at a mutual understanding and reasonable resolution of a matter over which they disagree, it would work for him to speak.
but the folks on the other side (media, politicians, maddened fans of other teams, jealous opponents players/management, etc) are not seeking understanding or resolution, they want only blood and headlines. there is no reasonable response other than silence, except when required by the NFL or law.
also, if you believe, as I do, that BB is sitting on a powderkeg of evidence and information that would tarnish the entire league and bring down others (can you spell "Parcells"), his silence is actually protecting others.
