Default What is your favorite PATS moment of all time?

Though a PATS fan my whole life. My all time favorite PATS moment came in the 2005 AFC, Divisional Championship Game, against the BRONCOS, Big Ben Watson #84 turned on the turbobooster and showed Champ Bailey, #24 what PATRIOT PRIDE is all about. He sprinted 100+ yards and leveled Bailey at the 1 yard line to ruin his interception and likely 100+ yard return for a touchdown. Now that was PATRIOT PRIDE! Check out the link below for a great NFL network video. I look forward to to seeing your submissions. Time for some positive PATRIOT submissions! GO PATS!!!!!!!!!

This is a great video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_17hM...eature=related

Vinatieri's game winning kick in Super Bowl XXXVI. Nothing else comes close (besides, possibly, the kick through the snow). Still get massive chills watching that moment.

There are other plays. The Otis Smith fumble return for a TD against the Jaguars in the 1996 AFCCG. Bledsoe leading the unreal comeback against the Vikings in, what, 1994? 1995? Before that is all a (mostly miserable) blur. I remember Jon Vaughn kickoff return TDs, Flutie playing for the Patriots, and other things, but I was too young to remember anything that stuck out. In fact, it was probably more because nothing actually did.

In reality, Watson also caused Bailey to fumble through the end zone and it should've been a touchback, but Tripplette and his band of merry goons couldn't overturn the ruling on the field. BS.

Mine is (obviously), Flutie's dropkick. That was a truly amazing thing to see. A great way to send off a good player. I challenge anyone to pick a moment where BB had a bigger smile on his face than on that play.

Robert Weathers td run against the Bengals in 1985.

That game put the Pats in the playoffs, and capped one of the best seasons in franchise history.

Plus, that was the last "major" game I saw in person.

Troy Brown's overtime 80+ yard TD catch at Miami in 2003 or 2004. Bill literally jumped for joy.

Coming out as a team before Super Bowl 36 is one that will always stick out.

So many great plays to name but thats what defined this entire run.

Troy Browns catch in the final drive of Super Bowl 2001. I was hopefull that the Patriots could do it ... when Troy caught that ball I felt it. Vinatieri's later kick was great ... but Brady to Troy's route and catch was the turning point in our history in my eyes.

Thanks for sharing that link.
Truly a remarkable play.
I got to meet Ben Watson at an event at last year's Super Bowl and wish I could have thanked him for that. ( I mentioned his play in the JAX playoff game before the Denver game).
That game was such a huge loss, people forgot that hit.

My favorite moment was being in Gillette for the inaugural game at the new stadium as the newly crowned champs beat up on the Steelers.

positive submissions?

your favorite Pats moment ever happens to be on a game breaking interception that was run back over 100 yards and basically lost us the playoff game?

that is sick

but anyways, I will play along, but I will give my top five regular season moments as picking playoff moments is too easy

1.) Troy Brown game winning 83 yard catch in Miami in OT in 2003
2.) Bledsoe to Coates TD at NYG in 1996 to clinch a bye and cap off a comeback from down 22-0
3.) 2003 goalline stand against INDY
4.) Bledsoe completing comeback against the Vikings
5.) Randy Moss hauling in the long TD at NYG to cap 16-0 regular season
