Default "I"an Rapapport Shows Bad Upbringing - Gasper Smacks Him Down

Evidently, there is a twitter fight going on now between the Herald reporter who sets records for referring to himself in his reports and Christopher Gasper of the Globe.

Evidently, Rapaport was using his cell phone during the Myra Kraft service and Gasper called him on it.

"cgasper @RapSheet Not attacking you. I have always respected your work. Just feel using a phone inside a funeral is bit indecorous. Just my opinion."

Unless Gasper used his mind to upload those characters to twitter...didn't he commit the same crime? Curious.

I guess this answers the age old question "If two nobodies have a twitter fight does anybody hear it?"

The answer is: Shmessy.

BTW, good for you, Chris in calling that boorish egomaniac out. Someone should have tossed him out on his ear for that.

Of course, Gasper tends to be mild mannered so now he is covering his tracks a bit and saying '....well, I know Rapapport and he's a good guy, I wasn't attacking him or anything, just pointing it out that it was indecorous....', etc.

Folks, even a kindergartener knows you don't use a cellphone in a funeral.

Umm, you evidently took the time to comment on it.

And, yes, if two reporters from the two rival major newspapers in Boston get into a personal pissing match in public, then YES, Letekro, many will find it somewhat interesting. If it doesn't interest you at all, there are hundreds of other threads for you to visit on this site.

From what I can tell, Rap was just tweeting, not talking.

And Gasper did the same thing while tattle-telling on him. So, I'd say they're about even.

Gasper's was AFTER the funeral. A little respect is not too much to ask.

Seriously, next time you go to a funeral and see someone typing away at his cellphone during the eulogy are you really going to say "Ah, it's ok, he's just tweeting"?

And Rap's was before the funeral. He just happened to be in the building, making it at least mildly boorish, but not worthy of a pissing match that Gasper started.

My bad...It's just that for me the local sports reporter is about as prestigious/noteworthy as the guy that cleans the porta-potties.
