Since we've seen posted here several times, the clock malfunctions in the 4th qtr ....it's refreshing to know that at the most crucial
time of the game, they finally got it right and put those 2 seconds back on the clock and brought everyone back to take a knee.

Exactly. It's a non issue. It's not like BB refused to shake hands at the 50. He congratulated TC on the win, and waddled to the locker room. Most of the time the NFL would wind down the clock anyway.

Obviously if they are changing the rule it is because this practice is WIDESPREAD not because of BB
