He broke the rules, he got punished. What are we arguing about? No one is saying he murdered anyone... just that he broke the rules.

if big dogs are on your porch talking you need to either quit the weed, or quit the disney channel -- they don't mix.

oops, nevermind -- there he goes.

Just like Holding is breaking the rules. They could call holding on every down if they wanted. Its a rule, not a criminal act. In fact getting away with a hold in a crucial time of a play or a game could have more of an impact on any given sunday. These are rules to a Game, god people act like he went out and destroyed the tapes to the JFK assasination. His penalty wasnt 10 yards because it was a coaching thing and a pissing contest between owners.

There are tons of HOFers that did shady stuff in thier day. Linemen stepping on each other with steel cleats, pokeing each other in the eyes in the scrum. But not today, bunch of tree hugging PC idiots running around today, its not fair, he hurt my feelings. I think he saw something he shouldnt have, good god, please. How about step up and say I lost because I lost. Simple as that.

You said that he cheated. He did not. He committed a procedural infraction (what he did was legal, how he did it wasn't); nothing more and nothing less. Of course, wearing your socks too short on gameday also qualifies as breaking the rules in the NFL, so whats the big deal?

It doesn't really bother me but I mean its always been pretty aparent that Belichick doesn't handle losing well, but then again the media has always had it out for him so these things tend to get over blown.

Well, enough players understood what they had to do, and ended the premature celebration so that they could line up and watch the Giants take a knee.
So, the Pats players were prematurely celebrating a loss? Can anyone say "agenda?"

Red Auerbach hated losing a lot and he won a lot of games...

You are all about splitting hairs. The fact is, if you play cards and are caught looking at someone elses hand, they will call you a cheater. You will call it trying to get an advantage. Get it?

That would never happen, since several of their poster boys (LdT and Peyton) do it after each annual loss in the playoffs.

I was personally insulted that the NFL made the teams run the final play, I don't give a (bleep) if that's the rule or not, it was rubbing salt in an open wound.
