A read that gave me some answers and led to some questions. Thanks for the link.

Like why is Light ranked #19 ? Rest of OL looks solid.....

No, although one question was in that vein. D'Bust is ranked lower than Light, if those are direct correlations, and I was wondering how long it would be before a Jets fan showed up to complain about that.

Indy is # 1 in pass blocking because Manning gets rid of the ball so quick.

True but when Manning does get sacked it's because the Oline missed an assignment.

Interestingly enough this dominant top OL hasn't shown up recently for a few games.

Is it possible that we have the Peyton Manning of offensive lines ?

Stroll through the regular season but allow pressure from a 4 man rush once the playoffs start?

It all starts in the trenches... Solder was a good pick.

Absolutely agree. The move in the past couple of yrs to an improved sense of physicality, coupled with added depth, speed, and youth, will put this team in solid contention for another 5 yrs--at least.

Love the Solder pick, it addressed more of a need/value than DE/OLB in my opinion, set us up for a good O-line for the future, gave us depth and youth in the current situation, and provided the much needed 'nastiness' that we all crave. It also should allow us to have better balance in the running game.

I love the past 2 or 3 drafts.

Totally Agree with this.....would love to see Cannon develop into a top RG also.....he looks like a road grader type...playing him next to Vollmer and Gronk could open some huge holes for the running game
