Default Remarks from Redskin Nation

Fans:

I can say all of us down here in DC are absolutely shocked. It's like Congress all showed up for a vote!

At first I was in an utter gleeful bliss of happiness, but then it sunk in. Yes, the NFCBeast is back and humbled the greatest team ever to take the field; but upon reflection I truly feel bad for all the negative things I said and felt about the Pats.

If the game was played again today, everyone knows it would be different. Brady and Moss were collected. Belichick didn't look defeated or sore or upset or angry.... he was dejected... it was something much deeper than defeat. I feel bad for him.

Everyone knows you guys fielded the best team in NFL history (and I've been around since the 60s) and after the dust and confetti has settled I really feel the historical and monumental weight of the loss you all are dealing with.

Take heart. You'll be there next year. Everyone knows it. Be encouraged.

Go Bruins!!

From your Friends in DC...

Thanks. I live and work in DC though, and I can assure you that I've been hearing it from Redskins fans in the office today, some of whom called it "karma for the 52-7 game."

Glad to see they don't all hate us, haha.

Trust me, as this sinks in... there is more of a "oh. my. God." factor.

I still dont believe it...

I noticed the Redskins fans for the most part here in the DC area have been pretty classy. The Cowboys fans I swear all traded in their Cowboy paraphenalia for the Giants. Last time I heard they were rivals. What gives?

Thank you for the gracious post. Hopefully you guys can get Spagnuolo as HC, he's obviously very talented.

We lost therefore we didn't field the best team in NFL history. Still my team though win lose or draw. They give an honest effort EVERY week.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

Dude...

yes you did... 4999 times out of 5000 Pats win that game.

I noticed that in the 4th Brady got frustrated... when he started getting rattled.... I knew.

Brady had an awesome drive after that, and I thought that Moss TD was money.... but...

oh well... praying for you guys... I know your feelings.

You should be thrilled about that game. Now Snyder will know enough not to hire McDaniels.

Cowboy fans can still claim 3 SB's in 4 years and didn't want the Pats to get 4 this decade. Giants were the lesser of 2 evils to them.
