Default NFL.com Posts Pats/Packers game as 3rd best game in all of 2010

NFL.com news: No. 3: Pats find unlikely hero in showdown vs. Flynn, Pack

I thoroughly enjoyed that game, especially the outcome but there was something missing when Rodgers was not in the game, nevertheless just like the NFL.com article says,I think the Pats Packers game was the best game at the very least of the Pats season if not all of the games.

There will be some Pats fans that thought the drubbing of the Jets on prime time was their favorite because of the hatred of the Jets, but when it comes down to exciting games and especially the other team using an unknown QB at the helm with a chance to win at Foxboro made for a fantastic game all around.

Of course everyone knows that the Connolly run for a near TD was the most hilarious and great play of the year which also occured in that same game.

I thought that Colts/Pats was a far better game to watch with two HOF QB going at it and a dramatic ending that was very unpredictable.

As someone here posted, Connolly came four yards away from one of the greatest plays of all time.

Great play by Connolly, and it might have been the 3rd best game because of how wacky it was, but it certainly wasn't the best played game on either side. The Patriots looked like they were comatose, and got mighty lucky.

Anyone remember who had the strip sack of GBs QB Flynn to seal the game?

I thought it was Wright but can't remember

We had a couple of pretty intense games that came down to the wire.

The Ravens,Chargers,Colts,Packers.

Those kind of victories are damn sweet.

Wright was long gone by then, I think it was TBC.

When we play evening games, they kick off at about 1am here, I go to sleep and know that if I wake up mid-game, I will lie in bed and keep refreshing the NFL iPhone app! (expect when I woke up mid Jets game to see the onslaught going on, I knew it was safe to go back to sleep)

But with this one, it wasn't shown on Sky for once, and could watch it in bed! I remember being nervous on the last drive, Matt Flynn playing well. My main memory is Dane Fletcher's sack on that drive, and it seemed to slow Flynn down, and he lost his composure!

I believe, if it wasn't for that sack, he possible would have driven down the field!

And I am sure it was TBC with the strip-sack!

I think TBC also had a penalty that negated a game ending interception by Meriweather before his play.

Agreed, the defense played poorly against Flynn.
