Default Jim Plunkett chimes in with a Montana - Brady opinion

Question: if you could have one QB for a last 2 minute drive, who would it be? Plunkett said Brady, but I was surprised why. Said Montana would get you 6 - 8 YPC, Brady 14 - 16. Guess Jim didn't see super bowl 23. I really liked Plunkett, and the only years I rooted for the Raiders in the playoffs were when they had Jim.

Plunkett was a good qb who seemed like a decent guy. He could not catch a break with the Patriots. At the time who got more boos and had more stuff thrown at him...it was not pretty. I think because expectations were so high when he was drafted.

And with the exception of the Hog, the Pats had NO line to protect him.

Brady has issued his opinion on Brady vs. Montana. He considers Montana to be a better QB.
