C'mon, I know you are a big supporter of PFF, but articles like this are not rare on their site. They are just one of those sites that are trying to make a name for themselves with flawed, but unique grading systems and controversial articles like this. Unfortunately, instead of thought provoking, these articles are a joke when they put Justin Smith at #2 and Brady at #33. Smith had a good year (good enough to make him a Pro Bowl alternate), but not in the top 30 in terms of performances. Brady arguably had the best year out of any player and to discount that performance because Brady didn't stretch the field a lot devoid of a deep threat is ludicrious. Not many QBs could have done what Brady did with Deion Branch as his #1 WR (Matt Hasselbeck couldn't do it with Branch as his #3 WR).

Actually your very close. I am a big supporter of just about every site/news source. I want to hear what every organization/writer has to say and then decide for myself what to believe and what to dismiss. I may believe most of what one source says and then dismiss most of what another source says. But I want to hear all of the information.

I just like to decide for myself.

So what's your problem actually? Is anybody stopping you? He just called that site for what it is.

Who is stopping anyone from citing it? But if its garbage, we'll call it garbage. I don't understand your issue here. If someone posts a link to a site that is full of garbage every time, then posters here are going to point out that it's garbage...every time.

You happen to think it's not garbage. Good for you - but the rest of us have just as much a right to voice our opinion. You're the only one here trying to censor anyone. PFF can say whatever they want. And people who want to take a look deeper at them can also call their stuff worthless.

Nothing wrong has occurred here other than you taking offense to the latter b/c you happen to be a paying member at that site.

Again, no one here is doing otherwise. It just happens that we dismiss PFF for what I would say are extremely valid reasons, and you do not.

You pimp that site as if you get paid to do it, so let's not pretend that you're pure here and new to the party.

It's a garbage site that's alright if you want to use the raw data it produces for ballparking something, but is absolutely brutal for just about everything else.

My question about pro football focus is this...

So, Brady is down the list of top rated QBs because his success is a product of system, great players around him, etc.

So, if that is really the case, does the sum of the Patriots offensive players grades surpass the sum of the grades of, say, the Packers? The Patriots scored more offensive points, so one would assume their offense as a whole grades higher than any other.

Is Brady + Gronk + Welker + BJGE + Mankins, etc > Rodgers + Jennings + Driver + Stitton, etc.

If not, then the system as a whole fails, and it's not the play of the "guys around Brady" that makes him great. If this is the case, then Brady's greatness grades out as system greatness.

To attribute offensive greatness to system contradicts what PFF does, doesn't it?

That is a lie sir. The only site I am a paying member of is this one. You are now on the ignore list. Have a good day.
