Predict whose death will be discuss the most during the SB pre-game and game....

Mike Holovak, a New England Patriots Coach who died one week before the SB.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slu...v=st&type=lgns

Marquise Hill, a New England Patriots Player who died during the off-season

or

I had meant to make this a poll. I predict Sean Taylor.

I noticed that almost everyone in the league is wearing Taylors 21 sticker

but

on the Patriots its only a few players, like Wilfork for example.

i've read some **** in my life, but this has to be the worst thread ever created.

first, why does it matter?

and secondly, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

come one man, we shouldn't be playing a game on peoples deaths, it's pretty disrespectful.

and im not saying this thread was intended to be so, but it's just kinda bad taste.

I'm with you, it made me wince to read this.

I get the point about Taylor's death getting a disproportionate amound of attention compared to Hill's, but Taylor was more well known and human nature was for people to feel closer to him because of that. I guarantee it isn't an issue for any of the families of the deceased.

This is actually a good point. Why did the league never have Tillman's number put on all teams' helmuts? The guy died while volunteering to fight for his country instead of earning millions. You'd think that would have been a great story. Did the NFL have every team pause for a moment of silence for tillman? I don't remember.

I agree. Starting a Holovak thread, without him, the Patriots might very well have folded.
