I'm with you, it made me wince to read this.
I get the point about Taylor's death getting a disproportionate amound of attention compared to Hill's, but Taylor was more well known and human nature was for people to feel closer to him because of that. I guarantee it isn't an issue for any of the families of the deceased.

This is actually a good point. Why did the league never have Tillman's number put on all teams' helmuts? The guy died while volunteering to fight for his country instead of earning millions. You'd think that would have been a great story. Did the NFL have every team pause for a moment of silence for tillman? I don't remember.
