It would make sense that all 53 ( or at least those that have any chance of being activated) make the trip in the event someone is injured or takes ill at the last minute......Some of the guys who are inactive often play the role of opposing players in practice in the week up to a game....

They bring the PS squad as well. Those guys all work in practice, whether in a Pats role or as scout team members.

Everybody goes, but I think there are only 52 on the roster right now, you need them for the scout team in practice and insurance in case someone gets sick or gets hurt..

Kraft sends just about everyone from the Gillette staff down, in the past he has sent something like three jets full of people.

Given that there's still a week to go until the game the active 45 is stil TBD, therefore I assume everybody goes.

They usually even include players that are on IR.
