Is grit the new buzz word now? I was just getting over classy! The Patriots can kill you more ways than my wife's meatloaf.

The way I feel is that the more people that pick the Giants the better.

You're right. The Pats might be the only undefeated team to be underdogs in the Super Bowl. That plays right into BB's hands. When will they learn? (hopefully never ).

The media is terrible nowadays. Back for the Carolina Super Bowl they called their D-line one of the best ever. Then after they lost the media downplayed the Pats win by calling the Panthers team one of the worst to make the big game. You can't have it both ways.

When the Pats were 14-point underdogs in 97 I don't remember anyone picking them to win the game. What about the 85 Bears team recording the winning "Shuffle" video prior to the game? Where were the pundits calling for the upset then? Not one person outside of NE picked the Pats to upset the Bears. And nobody had a problem with that. Nobody gave the Pats any due for their hard work in getting to the big game.

bring it on. post it on the bulletin board.

i hope no one picks us. Peter King? Sean Salisbury? Mike Ditka? Howie Long? TJ? Jaws? Bradshaw? Cowher? Shannon? Pick the Giants, please. Pick em to blow us out.

Say our LB's are "Old and Slow." Randy Moss is "distracted." Tom Brady is "hurt worse than we think." Spagnola is the next Belichick. More. More.

Have the betting get so heavy that the spread crashes into single digits. Plan the parade down Broadway.

We Love It!!!!

Actually, the '72 Dolphins were 2 point underdogs going into the super bowl. The AFC, especially the AFC East, especially the Patriots (hate to say) were pretty weak that year.

Dr Z HATES the Pats. If you doubt that listen to his interview from 12/28 with Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts. Hate to say it but his bitterness reminds me of Mercury Morris.

Some of his highlights,

If the Pats go undefeated they'd maybe rank in the top 15 teams of all time. Curiously, he still picked the Pats to win it all.

Said he's a Tom Coughlin man. Loves him.

Called Eli Manning a scatter arm. Sometimes they come around sometimes they don't.

Best team of all time in his opinion? 1976 Steelers, even though they didn't win the SB that year.

Again this is from 12/28/07

I'm not going to list them all, but if you go back this year all the way to the offseason, he's consistently made bad predictions about the Pats. Randy Moss was going to disrupt the lockerroom, Spygate was going to force Belichick to retire, Colts will win, blah blah blah. He's predicting on emotion, who gives a *****?
