Without being quite so negative..hehe...I would say that since he talked crap on Belichick, he has actually shown less class than the guy he accused of being classless. From his "if they aint cheatin, they aint tryin" line to giving Rivers the cold shoulder against the Titans to today...I could not be prouder of my team except for LT.

Tomlinson is a great player, a lock HOFer. He obviously has a bum knee, gave it a go and knew he couldn't help the team. I think it's juvenile that some Pat fans are kicking him when he's down. It's enough that our team won this game. We don't have to spit on the competition. SD played nobly in defeat, and the fact LDT was hurt doesn't diminish him as a player.

Thx for the kind words. I had no problem with him not playing because I actually think that Turner 100%> Lt 70-80%. Problem is he just sat their in the cold like a little girl when he should have been up supporting his team.

Tomlinson was not there today for his team mates. He sat on that bench with his shaded helmet on his head all wrapped up in a paraa. Why wasn't he in a stocking cap, leaning on crutches, shouting encouragement to his team, and helping coaches with intel and spotting.

LT may be a great running back, but I have rarely seen him provide much leadership. Today, seeing him sit on the bench in full armor was tragic and pathetic. His team needed him...if not in the game..on the sidelines letting them know he was with them not pouting about himself. Class? Right.

Bleichick would have sent him packing if he saw that.

They'll have to play the Pats 27 more times and beat them every time to win those odds.

Pony,
You are correct. However, we are diminishing him as a person. He talks a big game...loves the podium and always is good for a soundbite. In the end, this year ended the same way last year did...with slumped and said and coming up short as a player and person. The Heck with him!

I think you're a bit wrong. This is not High School. LT was up on multiple occasions also. It added drama to show him sitting down so you ASSUMED that he was sitting the whole game. How many times did it show LT sitting? twice. Plus, pros aren't forced to stand on the sidelines and cheer on their teammates like HS players are. The bench is packed full of players and coaches in an NFL game.

I'm going to give LDT the benefit of the doubt here. He's been a warrior for alot of years in the NFL, playing a full season on a torn groin. He was probably devastated he couldn't help his team on the field.

LT has never talked trash about any other team than the Patriots. It's not that he loves the mic, he hates the pats. Someone that hates them so much but can't play in the game must have been frustrated. Plus, the media has been trying to focus all year on last years situation and tried to call the Chargers hypocrites. I, for one, am glad the season is over. Not glad we lost, but happy for our team to make it so far. We were criticized so unfairly throughout the year. Your team was also criticized but you're doing something we couldn't do, go to the Superbowl, making it better for you. We had a great season considering we have a brand new coaching staff and we could build on that.

But like it or not, we will be back next year and LT is going to be the hammer for the Chargers.
