Default OT: Nostradamus predicted the Giants would upset the Cowboys

Got this off the Giants MB:

Nostradamus, history’s most famous soothsayer, has prophesized:

In the year of two K and eight, The Prophet Elijah will lead his blue legions to the barren land, where the idolaters of the false star dwell. Prior indignities will be avenged, for the wrath of The Prophet knows no bounds and he WILL take his vengeance. The Prophet will unleash the whirlwind on the Sabbath and the howls of the multitude will rise up, for their suffering will be great. The entire populace will endure the Prophet’s righteous wrath, and their years of shame and futility will endure.

Only one of the star people will not suffer; their fair queen will abandon her eunuch, leave the anguish of the barren land and be taken as a concubine by The Prophet. She will bring great joy to his household and will accompany him to the frozen north as his quest continues.

Yeah, the guy made it up. Nostradamus didn't name dates. Creative, though.

You realize that isn't an actual Nostradamus prediction, right?

Considering how painfully unfunny it is that is the only reason why I could fathom someone wanting to post that here-that they thought it was an actual Nostradamus quatrain.

I thought it was funny. Not painful at all.

Post this on the Giants MB and tell us the reaction.

The following paragraph said:

But upon arriving in the frozen north he could not relax as he lack comedy. Soon The Prophet sought out an Elder. And the Elder gave the Profit a piece of cured milk. The Prophet chocked the cured milk. As it was preordained the Profit would never travel as far as his older brother.

I suppose this is as good a place as any to, as they say, waste bandwidth with one of my I-Ching readings, generated with the aid of http://www.facade.com/iching/

I asked: "Who will prevail in this weekend's Patriots/Chargers battle?"

Excerpts from the reading, with my own tongue-in-cheek reinterpretation
--------------------------------------------------
Action may be taken in small affairs, but not in great affairs. Like the notes that come down from a bird on the wing, to descend is better than to ascend. There will, in this way, be great good fortune.

Wes Welker is the embodiment of "small", and then there is "small ball". The Patriots will continue to emphasize underneath routes, with much success.

The third line, undivided, shows its subject taking no extraordinary precautions against danger, and some in consequence finding opportunity to assail and injure him. There will be evil.

Cheap shots will be taken at TB.

The situation is evolving slowly, and Yin (the passive feminine force) is gaining ground.

LDT would, from what I've read here, qualify as a passive feminine force specializing in gaining on the ground.

The future is embodied in Hexagram 16 - Yu (Enthusiasm): In this state, feudal princes and other delegates may be set up, and the hosts put in motion, with advantage.

TB has been described as a prince; also, I expect to see plenty of effective pre-snap motion...

...As part of this process, stillness and obstruction are giving way to docility and receptivity.

The Chargers D will be quite sturdy early on, but they will eventually wear out, become docile, and enhance the "receptivity" of the Patriots O.
