Default Predict the Score RESULTS, Div playoffs JAX @ NE
The Giants game threw the board for a loop, the winning score was 15 points. This week against the Jaguars the board as a whole did a LOT better, 15 points landed you in 118th place! And you needed to be within 3 points to break the top 20.

So it's not surprising that the winner this week nailed the score exactly. The surprising thing might be only one player did.

As you would expect with so many close predictions this week, not much changed at the top of the season standings, except Bostonian1962 pulled 6 points closer into 2nd place. 1-2-3 are within 2 points, it's still way too close to call!

The game continues as long as the Pats do.

This week's average score was only 10. The * means don't miss another week. This week is the last possible week you are allowed to miss, anyway, and that's if we get to the SB.

Thanks for the updates. I have a feeling that we will have a greater variety of predictions than we had last week, perhaps from < 30 total points to > 60.

Thanks for doing this. So the person with the lowest score wins? But then you normalize to number of games or something? I'm not sure I understand how the cumulative score works...

Lowest cumulative score wins, but there's no normalization. Add up the scores for all the weeks and lowest wins the overall season chanpionship.

Probably the "normalization" you saw is what I do for a missed week. The first year I ran this a few people missed one week (computer problems, extended vacation over Christmas, just forgot) and were eliminated from the season competition. So since then one missed week is allowed, and for that week the score the person gets is the average (mean, actually) of the scores for that week. That keeps skipping a week from being a big advantage.
