Patriots owner Robert Kraft certainly took a lot of unfair criticism earlier this week....

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

The players and owners certainly can agree on one thing: nothing matters as much as what happens to them and their situation. What ego-centric *********s...

I never felt that Light was criticizing Kraft personally. He was criticizing the process where the players and owners were never able to sit down and face each other and talk this out. w

Kraft himself commented (and rightly so) that it was time to get rid of the lawyers on BOTH sides and start to really negotiate. The fact is that it is never in the best interests of the LAWYERS to ever settle. The longer this goes on, the longer they keep getting paid.

The day this finally gets done, will be the day the two sides face each other WITHOUT intermediaries.

I took it as a compliment of Kraft that both Light and Vrabel would want him in the room taking an active part in the negotiations.

I wonder how Matt Light feels about the lawsuit being filed yesterday and No Tom Brady, no Payton Manning, and no Dree Brees. Are these not the three biggest names on the law suit and these players were selected to represent other players? What is that saying??

It's actually proper to spell it both ways, though yours is more common. It's one of those miniscule-minuscule words that people are always fighting over.
