Ditka gave Washington the No. 12 overall pick and the second, fourth, fifth and sixth-round picks in the 1999 draft. That’s not all. He also gave them first and third-round picks in 2000.
The Cowboys received linebackers Jesse Solomon and David Howard, cornerback Isaac Holt, running back Darrin Nelson, defensive end Alex Stewart, 1990 first, second and sixth-round draft picks, 1991 first and second-round draft picks and 1992 first, second and third-round draft picks.
This is a terrible list.
The two above examples are the probably the worst deals in NFL history. To say that Anquan Boldin was more lopsided? Who won that deal? Apparently, this writer thinks that Boldin not only was worth three draft picks, but that this was one of the most lopsided deals ever. To put in in perspective, I don't think the Ravens could trade Boldin for a fourth round pick one year later.
Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards? Holmes will likely be a 15-game rent-a-player. Edwards has been decent but not great. Neither one of them came with a lot of contract years.
The fact that Washington actually did NOTHING with rake they recieved for Ricky Williams is astounding. How is that possible...seriously? Nothing? lololol

Ya, it's a stupid list but, like all lists of this type, it is meant to generate discussion and web hits.
To consider Moss to Vikings the most lopsided trade ever is absolutely ridiculous considering the 2 examples you referenced above.
that may be the worst article ive ever read. seriously. its almost so bad that it makes it worth your time to read. AWFUL
Oh c'mon - it's the Bleacher Report. What are you expecting, a pulitzer worthy submission?
It's a fun little walk through history from someone who seems to be a bit focused on the Patriots.
Ironically my main main thought was to actually defend Mangini on the Edwards to Jets.
Mangini had absolutely no leverage on that one - and everyone knew it. He was lucky to get anything for Edwards, who given his attitude with the Browns, was a addition by subtraction type player. Instead he probably took some pride in making a Patriots division rival stronger.
There's plenty of other things to criticize Mangini about, but that's not one of them. I think Mangini's trade of Sanchez to the Jets may look worse over time, though not top 20 bad as Mangini did the safe thing to draft a quality center.
I think Mangini was afraid to pull the trigger on a high draft pick again after being spooked by Belichick into using a Jets #6 pick on Vernon Gholston. Say what you want about Sanchez, but the Browns would look a lot better right now with him lining up behind center.
The Santonio Holmes trade a bigger lopsided trade than the Hershall Walker trade?!? The Hershall Walker trade helped to create a dynasty in Dallas. Santonio Holmes played 12 regular season games with the Jets and while a very good WR, was inconsistent (although very clutch at times).
Also, the Moss to The Vikes trade is clearly not the most lopsided trade in NFL history. I don't even know if it makes the top 20. It was a horrible trade for the Vikes, but it was only a third round pick.

Yeah, Edwards wasn't exactly a great player in Cleveland except for one year. In fact, he wasn't all that great last year. He was an above average WR this year (904 yards and 7 TDs), but it isn't like teams had to gameplan around him.
This might be going back a bit far but wasn't Plunkett to 49ers pretty lopsided? He was cut by niners within two years and I believe Mike Haynes, Pete Brock and a few other starters were selected with draft picks recieved.
Bledsoe deal doesn't belong there
Edwards deal doesn't belong there
Boldin deal was bad, but not top 10 bad
Moss to Vikings deal doesn't belong there, and the writer has it at #1
That's some pretty atrocious stuff, there.
