Default No Tip of the Hat to the Jets From Me

It's the classy and sportsmanlike thing to say and mean "I tip my hat to the Jets; they played better; they coached better; they deserved the win."

And by the way, they DID do those things and they DID deserve to win. Sure, the Pats were bad and sure, BB coached poorly. But the Jets deserve what they got.

STILL, I will say this: I don't tip my hat to the freaking NY Jets. I still freaking hate them with the core of my being. I wish them harm. I wish them pain. I want anyone who plays them to demolish them. 55-0 would be good.

The Jets DO NOT REPRESENT THE PATRIOTS OR ME AS ONE OF THEIR FANS.

Hell, one of my closest friends is a Steelers fan and I am thinking of going to the game with him for (a) a good time and (b) a chance to root against those freaking a-wipes.

Last: As much as the Jets got their win over the Pats yesterday, we all know that it will fade into oblivion if they lose against the Stillers.

Oh man. I cannot wait till they lose on Sunday - that will def make the pain a little less. I want to see the sad and sorry face of Rex and that entire rat infested organization on Sunday when the Steelers whoop their ass. I went on their boards and they arent even thinking about Sunday. It was as if this was their SuperBowl. If they lose - they are gonna cry so hard. Getting so far again but no ring.

Go Steelers BIG TIME!!!

incorrect by my perspective.....this loss will last into next season and will go into oblivion IF the Pats regain dominance within the division in 2011.

Many are seeing the Jets win as a turning point in the AFC East and who knows if their win is the beginning of change in the division?.....this loss will linger and the Jets deserve to brag into mid season next year at least

whether they win the SB or not doesn't matter on the eyes of many Pats fans....it's a personal issue of whether it's the changing of the guard or a repeat of the past.

If you ask me,Rex Ryan seems to be quite possibly Mike Shanahan II...that means we may have come across another coach who can beat Belichick as often or even more than Belichick beats him.....Rex has outcoached Belichick in 3 of 5 meetings so far.......time will tell

I would hardly say this is a changing of the guard. The jets have MANY free agents next season. The jets were built to win THIS YEAR, and if they can't win it all this year, then they may be in some trouble. Other than that, I think all pats fans have to tip their hats to the jets. It sucks, but what can we do? It only sounds worse if we continue to talk ****. Take the high road when you encounter a jets fan, it will be better that way.

I might show up in a local Pittsburgh Steeler bar just for chits and grins. I will be hoping the Steelers and Packers win which is what the concensus of the national media was to start with in August to be in the Bowl

Glad to see you are confident that the Jets will lose to the Steelers just like you were confident your team would demolish them yesterday. Seems to me that the Jets went into PItt a few weeks ago and beat them....stakes were high, don't fool yourself. The Jets are playing football while your team plays golf.

The Green Beans epitomize the latest brand of nasty "in-your-face" unsportsmanlike behavior sweeping modern sports. Their fans buy into it as well. It probably would take a sports sociologist to explain this stuff, but the intentional blurring of lines between "personal" and the game itself by people like fat Wrecks just makes things worse. It takes some joy from the experience even when you win, because there's always someone sitting nearby or on the Internet who wants to rain on your parade instead of extend congratulations. It's easy to get caught up in from both sides.

But when a team like New Jersey lips off and rubs it in (re., Bart Scott's moronic rant), it really makes them look and sound like low-lifes. I'd hate for any Patriot players to act like that. Being a Green Beans fan with any level of personal dignity certainly requires some blind eyes/deaf ears to that sort of crap, or the ability to rationalize on a cosmic level.

I will say that there are a few teams whose organizations and fans I respect. Pittsburgh, N.Y. Giants, Green Bay and Seattle are a few. I really hope the Steelers rub out New Jersey next week.

Another shining illustration of my point above.

When that happens I will turn it into my wallpaper ASAP and leave it up 'til the next reg-season rematch (which, if it were realistic, I'd want to see go 110-0)... Yes, I broke my last-post 'vow', but I still need to vent just a bit.

I agree. I take comfort in the fact that, even though I am from NJ, my parents raised me correctly and I see what a dirtbag franchise that is, from Woody Johnson down to the jerkoff sacks of monkey***** that invaded Foxboro yesterday.

Yes, my comfort comes from me not being a Jets fan. Thank you God.

truth
I hated them on 1/15/11; there has to be a better, stronger, darker word for today. Loathe maybe...

Let's have a contest, see who can come up with one lol
