A few months ago if you will recall, 1.5 Million people were evacuated and several thousand people lost their homes along with everything else.
Yeah, pretty friggin hilarious we're about 500 tickets short of a sell-out. You are a complete moron, grow up.
Perhaps Karma will come knocking on your door for posting such a ridiculous thread.
What does one thing have to do with another? I'm not trying to be funny or joking. New Orleans filled all their seats after one of the worst natural disasters this country has seen.

Wow, that's a pathetic use of the victim card. It's also disrespectful to Detroit Tigers fans who lost their closer for their year because of the fires.
Wikipedia tells me that SD is the eighth largest US city with 1.25 million people, and that the SD-Carlsbad-San Marcos metro area is the 17th largest in the US with 2.9 million people. And you want to tell me that several thousand (your number) misplaced people is the issue?
they just don't want to be there when the camera pans the stands and they all get caught on tv w/that slackjawed glassy eyed 'not again!' looks on their faces.
if you're on your own couch you don't need to don the paper bag.

Just to drive this point home since I live in New Orleans. The entire metro area was evacuated, many still dont have their homes back, many residents never returned, the Saints sold out their last 2 seasons and easily sold out their playoff game, I know, I was there. your fan base just sucks, don't hide behind a tragedy.
As much as I hate the Chargers, asked my buddy who is die hard SD fan what the deal was. He is a season ticket holder, and apparently the Chargers did a crappy job with their marketing of playoff tickets.
Season ticket holders needed to reserve their seats by 12/3, but he never got an email or letter or anything, so didn't look into it.
On top of that, since games sell out general public likely assumed no seats were available so didn't try.
