Default Did Meriweather get mildly injured Sat nite? (pure speculation)

I just brought this up in another thread and it reminded me that I meant to ask about this and see if anyone else noticed.

I hadn't heard anyone else talking about this - but a couple plays before the Giants TD to make it 38-35, Meriweather appeared to limp a little bit and check himself out, bringing Rodney in.

Anyone else see this/see him get banged up? With two weeks to heal, probably not a big deal, but I thought he played a great game the other night and the defense looked stronger when he was on the field.

I just checked the tape. Sure enough, Merriweather pulled up lame after his open field tackle of Brandon Jacobs. Jacobs is a load and Merriweather took a thumpin' on that one. Nice tackle though.

Per Reiss' blog, Meriweather was not missing from practice so it should be a non issue going forward.
