Patriots outscored the Colts by a measly 139 points on the season.... yeah, it's a push.

There's a break down on the right of each position. It's worthless otherwise.

The Patriots were 13th in the league in rushing yards per game and are ranked 8th. The Cowboys were 17th and are ranked 3rd. The Colts were 18th and are ranked 4th.

I appreciate them calling Larry Izzo one of the best STers in the NFL, but he isn't, not anymore. He's okay, but Kelley Washington is the best STer on the Patriots... he looks like Steve Tasker-lite out there. He's the first around every ball and the best Patriots gunner I've seen... ever, Larry Wigham and Je'Rod Cherry be damned.

.
The ranking is with respect to talent at each position, not yards gained. The Chargers were 7th in the league in rushing yards and are ranked higher than the Jaguars who were 1st in the league is rushing yards.

But that's a large enough difference in talent that the ranking is understandable, since Tomlinson is the best RB in the league. Is Addai+Keith really 4 spots better than Maroney+Faulk... if it's really better at all?

I think when you think RB for the Patriots, you think Maroney... but Faulk is almost like a WR, but he runs the ball extremely well and is the best 3rd down specialist in the league, and picks up blocks better than any RB I have ever seen.

This is an idiotic poll, lets everyone give an attaboy for filling up space on the long holiday,

Perfect example, special teams they talk about the Cowboys kickers as the best and then talk about the Pats returners.. why not compare kickers to kickers and returners to returners.. raisin and grapefruit comparison..

The LB thing is another thing that pisses me off, we may not have demarco ware or James Farriot.. what we do have are seasoned, very smart, well coached football players who do a lot of things well and they all play complimentary roles. The sum is greater than the equal of it parts.

How can we have then #1 slot in three out of four O categories, yet end up tied for first?
