Today is NOT the day to say "Let's talk about where we can improve". Yet I've already seen several threads discussing this very topic. Hell, 5 minutes after the Greatest regular season achievement EVER, this very topic was posted on this board.
What is it about New England fans that we feel compelled to see the glass as half-empty? Why cant' we Celebrate & Relish in the Glory of last night's incredible achievement without focusing on "Why we're concerned"? I honestly find this both sickening and sad. God knows we have plenty of time to talk about our concerns, but we are just FANS! We are supposed to cheer & congratulate our team on their perfect regular season. Yet I see a fan base that is reluctant and for the life of me, I don't know why.
We are NOT players, so it is NOT bad luck to give our team a well deserved 48 hours of pure celebration & congratulatory praise. There is NOTHING bad that can happen as a result of FANS losing focus. As a matter of fact, the thought we need to keep our focus as fans is utterly STUPID.
As fans, we do NOT need to keep it "One game at a time", nor do we need to accept "on any given sunday" BS. We can actually assume or believe we will be world champions and there is nothing wrong with that.
To those who are concerned & worried and not uphoric over last night's achievement....
SHAME ON YOU!

So everyone who doesn't believe exactly as you do should be ashamed?
This isn't a family photo album or an official team site.
People come here for information and give and take.
It's great that there are threads of all types here. No one learns anything from everyone being on the very same page.
I realize what you're saying shmessy, but we'll have to agree to disagree on this. Pitino was right about the niche of fans in New England that foster negativity. Although these fans have that right, they should be ashamed to focus on the negative after last night.
It's not about agreeing with me, it's about respecting our team's accomplishment. Complaining today is disrespectful. I'm sure many will disagree with me and I'm sure many will also say they believe as I do on this. After all, if you recall, I'm the one who always says,
"This is not a site to discuss football over tea & crumpets"
It's a FOOTBALL site and I'm giving my smack-mouth opinion on those who are "Concerned" and telling them it is my opinion that they should "put a lid on it today".

I keep hearing this. When will people realize that a significant number of Pats fans are NOT in New England.
