Default I'm not sure BB cares about winning this game

All Belichick cares about is winning the Super Bowl. The fact that Kaczur and Neal are both out is telling. It wouldn't surprise me if the starters only play a half.

Coughlin is an idiot, so the Giants may actually play harder. Although I was listening to NY WFAN last night and the guy who came on after Mike and the Maddog was BEGGING Caughlin to rest the starters.

Incidentally, Mike and the Maddog are idiots. They spent 30 minutes discussing how 60 Minutes was pathetic for not asking about the out-of-wedlock baby. They were too dumb to realize the entire interview was a rehash of something recorded before the kid was even conveived. (Deion Branch should have been a dead giveaway.) Stupid New Yorkers.

I represent the legion of Patriots fans, and football fans, who know for a fact that BILL BELICHICK MOST CERTAINLY "CARES ABOUT WINNING THIS GAME." He's simply going to try to win - a good bet, in my book - without players who are currently injured.

Honestly, what are you people on?

Bill cares, because he knows his boys care. This game is about the New England Patriots making history. Bill may not give two hoots about setting the record, and he may not care about breaking the Vikings total points record, and he may not care about Brady and Moss setting passing and receiving records, but I think he would be foolish to blow off this game.

This game mean so very much to everyone one in the Patriots nation, and I think Bill Belichick clearly realizes that. I seriously doubt he wants to lose this football game. Missing Kazur and Neal is tough, but the role players stepping up will do well...everyone has to be pumped.

Let's hope they don't drop passes, cause stupid penalties, fumble the ball, or toss interceptions.

BIG game...HUGE game.

GO PATRIOTS!!!

BB has confidence that O'Callaghan and Hock can get the job done.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

One thing BB has been extremely consistent about is not putting injured players on the field. He's very conscientious where he is not willing to risk further injury. This is why he's so obsessed with depth at every position. When a starter is injured, the team plugs in the next guy. Don't forget how this team won 3 Super Bowls. They won with players being prepared to step up to replace the starter in every case. This year is no different.

You're not sure...?
Tell me, are you concerned about the sun rising in the East tomorrow?

He'll do "what's best for the team"
Tell me how you think team morale would be if BB deliberately voided an opportunity for 53 guys to make history?

Second. I don't see how people can think the Pats, from BB down to the ball boy, wouldn't care about winning.

No chance.... BB is a student of this game's history. No way he blows off an opportunity to mark {another} mark in it. NO FUKCING WAY.

He'lll play to win the game.

Belichick is likely the HC in the NFL that is most respectful and cognizant of NFL history. He watches 50 year old game film and can quote records from the 40's and 50's. He is as familiar with the Single Wing as he is with the West Coast Offense.

He most certainly cares about 19-0 and his guys getting records...witness Flutie's dropkick and Vinnie's TD longevity record.
