Here's what I understand from the article:
Either improve the team, trade me, or pay me more money.

I don't see any "I'm willing to sign a long term contract at a discount to play for a winner" in there

Is there any "I'm willing to pay back the Falcons the prorated signing bonus" in the article??? Talk is cheap.

I bet a lot of you guys were the ones saying Moss would never play for the Pats. Or questioning the Dillon trade. Or saying we would never take Merriweather cause he acted like a punk during the U vs FS game.

I don't know how many of you watch Falcon games ( I sure has hell don't), but the fact remains he is a Pro Bowl corner and would be a lock to return to that status were he to play in our defense. In fact, I think he'd be an upgrade over Samuels half way through the season.

I don't care what his personality is. If anyone isn't convinced the Pats locker room doesn't change personalities, or the public's perception of same, well then, we have nothing to discuss I guess.

Assuming he's sign for less than Asante is going to demand, I am willing to trade

This years 1st round & 2nd round
for
Their 2009 1st round and this years 2nd round . We essentially get a low 1st round this year, Atlanta's 1st round in 2009, which is likely to be a top ten, and a blue chip corner at a lower cost than what Asante is demanding

Didn't this guy literally lose the game for his team against Panthers by just going off, getting penalty after penalty on purpose? He is still very young so he does have some potential but with his kind of maturity issue, I wouldn't touch him with 10 foot pole. I mean I remember Dillon being all pissy but in no way did he ever try to call out coaches or not play hard.

Didn't his coach quit the team with 3-4 more games to play? Yeah, thats a guy you want to play hard for.

He can't be worse than Ellis Hobbs. :P
And I don't think it would cost much to pick him up, heck we gave up a 3rd rounder for Duane Starks, why not Hall who fills a need and insures against if/when Samuel leaves?

I wouldn't give more than a 3rd round pick for him. He is talented, but taking on this problem child is still a risk. If pushed, and convinced that Hall can be rehabilitated (attitude-wise), I'd consider giving up the late 2nd rounder we have, but I'd prefer to spend no more than a 3rd.

And then there's Moss who quit in games and sometimes didn't bother taking the field in practice. Hall could be a good option depending what Belioli knows about his personality.

Isn't Randy Moss already a Patriot?

Well said. Those were a bunch of generalizations made based on media perception, not I warrant, on actual knowledge of Hall's personality, goals, personal situation, etc.
