I expect the same kind of outcome. They'll let the kid complete the obvious reads and he'll put up good numbers. He'll get nothing down the field.
GB does have a good defense so they'll stop the Pats a couple of times.
4th qtr Brady will rev it up and Flynn will start to feel the pressure to make plays.
Game over.

When criticizing Flynn's last game, you overlook that he did not have a week of preparation. This week is entirely different. He's had reps and gone thru specific gameplay to cater to his abilities. So expect Flynn to perform better. He could also play the game of his life. I take nothing for granted and im sure the team won't after that Cleveland game.

Speaking of Flynn and his ilk, I think that over 1/4th the teams are starting 2nd or 3rd string QBs Sunday/Monday. Think about the competitive consequences throughout the rosters with an 18 game season. There's already a marked dearth of NFL level competent starters.

A new vending machine unveiled in Tokyo actually decides what the customer wants and even makes suggestions for them. Intriguing, no? Maybe Green Bay might want to invest in one of those gizmos, and if the machine is as smart as it sounds, it could dispense a freakin' quality backup quarterback and the Pack wouldn't be stuck with Matt Flynn as its quarterback now that Aaron Rodgers is sidelined with his second concussion of the season.
Not sure which was more frustrating watching the Packers Sunday? Seeing Flynn turning in his Pop Warner-worthy performance (including an INT in the end zone in the third quarter), trying to decipher the Packers' bizarre play-calling, especially on the final ill-fated drive when Flynn tried two straight passes (incomplete, by the way) when they were faced with a third-and-one at the Lions 31, or the fact that the Packers had the honor (or is that indignity?) of being the team to snap the Lions' NFL-record 19-game losing streak in divisional games.
Or maybe it's that Green Bay's playoff hopes are now equal to those of the Lions. Yeah, maybe it's that one.
The Patriots have done their work on Flynn, who only attempted 20 passes in three career seasons before relieving Rodgers last week. They've got tape on Flynn from the preseason and have kept a heavy eye on that Detroit game.
One Patriot, however, knows Flynn better than the rest. Cornerback Chevis Jackson, who was signed last week in the corresponding roster move to Brandon Spikes' suspension, won a national championship with Flynn at LSU, and they were both in the 2008 draft class.
Jackson had nothing but good things to say about Flynn, who took over at LSU for JaMarcus Russell and led the Tigers to the title in his only season as the starter. Jackson pointed to Flynn's intangibles, such as his leadership and winning ability.
"He's a big part of the reason we won the championship that year," Jackson said. "He's a winner. He leads his team. He's a nice guy. What can you say about him? He was in college for a couple years behind JaMarcus, and the year JaMarcus left, we won the national championship.
"He's a good guy. He helped us win. He did what he had to do, what the coaches asked him to do. There's not much else you can say about him. He's a good competitor. He wins."
NESN: Head coach Mike McCarthy has given some ominous news on Aaron Rodgers' status, so what type of scouting report could you give us on backup quarterback Matt Flynn?
B.H.: First, some history: Flynn took over at LSU after JaMarcus Russell went No. 1 overall to Oakland. All he did was lead the Tigers to the national championship during his only year as the starter. So, the guy knows how to play. The Browns wanted him during the offseason to be their starter, but the Packers wouldn’t listen to any offers.
I think I was the only guy in the media to be tough on Flynn after the Detroit game. He blew a few chances to make plays that might have led to a different outcome. With that said, now that he’ll have a week's worth of practice reps, that obviously will help with the timing with his receivers.
As for the scouting report: Decent arm, decent mobility, but a real gamer. He won't wow anyone with his skill-set, but he knows how to play.
Colt McCoy looked okay against us ... I mean it can happen ... not likely but possible.
Let's be fair....... we were getting GASHED by Hillis at the time. We had the crowed the line, which left us real vulnerable to the pass. With GB running game, it should be a different story. We'll have more help on the backside.
