Default Pats Fans Bahs in Tamper Florider Areah?

Any notable places to watch the Pats playoff games? I'll be in south of Tamper on Anna Maria Island throughout the playoffs. Internet access only thru the library but that's another matter. When I asked about bars locally (Bradenton, AMI, Holmes Beach, Longboat Key) in previous years all I got was "Bucs aren't in it" replies.

Will you be close to Ft Myers? I know you really don't think Tampa ends with an 'er'.

Used to like to go down to the Sandpiper (I think that was the name) and drink beers on the deck, no football though. I've heard of a place between Tampa and Clearwater, about a 1 1/2 drive, over the Skyway. If your interested I can research it.

In case anyone else is ever looking for another location, I googled Red Sox bars and then from there found this. On recruiting trips I've notice there are a lot of easy to find Red Sox bars around the US and the majority are thus New England bars.

This is what I found via: http://www.redsoxconnection.com/fans/hangouts.html:

Patriots Sports Bar
KD's Grille & Lounge
13949 W. Hillsborough Ave.
Tampa, FL.

After the recent demise of Boston Bob's on St. Pete Beach, KD's is the last sports bar I know of in the Bay area that promotes itself as a Pats bar (they show all Bucs games too, but Pats get first priority). Play some pool, eat some wings, order some buckets and watch the Patriots march their way to a third Super Bowl championship. I'll be there in my Tedy Bruschi jersey. The owners are from Attleboro, MA.

Been to the Keys; loved it; can't get wife to go back. I used to fly often to Ft Lauderdale company HQ in the 90s and got to know FL's East coast well. I remember wicked pissah Bahia Honda State Park along the way down.

There isn't a bar that shows all games on Anna Maria Island. There's a bar but it'll only have the local TV games. Called Hurricane Hanks. If the Miami game is on the local channels it'llbe on there. It a decent little place.
There's a bar on 1st Street in Bradenton that I believe is called the All Star Cafe that shows all games. It's loud and crazy sometimes. There was a bar on Cortez that showed all games but I think it closed. There's a sports bar on Manatee Road up towards I-10 that shows all games but I never went there.
I have been to that All Star Cafe and watched games before. If your on the Island, take the Cortez street bridge and just keep drving until the road veers to the left and it bends around a mall on the left. After you go thru a light after the mall land ends, there's an entry into a strip mall on the right, go in there and it's right there in the front of the strip mall. The part that faces the street. Cortez turns into 1st street after it bends around the mall.

Yeah, I miss Boston Bob's.

You're a lot closer to Bradenton and Sarasota than Tampa.

That bars almost in Oldsmar, but that was the one I found on this fan club site too.

You might try surfing around this page.

Actually, it's almost all highway, so it shouldn't be bad.

I lived on St. Pete beach for like a year. You live there?
