That said, I don't give a damn about what he thinks about us.

I just want our players to continue this media ballwashing and instead have this redhot focus until we hold the SB, at which time I don't mind a fumble.
Listen, I couldn't careless what he said. I just don't understand why everyone wants to anoint him for sainthood because he was forced to eat his words.
Being forced to backtrack on what you say does not make you a classy guy.

There was an article in the CHicago Tribune where Urlacher said Brady was the best. Could never find an electronic line, though.
I don't think Uralacher said anything above standing up for his team in competitive fashion.

There was nothing wrong with his earlier comments, and the post-game comments that are posted in this thread are very respectful.

Listen, I don't think you are understanding the posters who are tipping their hats to him. They are not annointing him to sainthood or statehood; they admire him as a reputed and tough player who doesn't brag or talk sh*it like Suggs and hence are pleased with his respectful comments.

And it's not just the Pats fans; he is a highly respected guy around the league. So, to see him crown us as the best in national TV after a game where they got whipped is not only nice to read/see, but also signals that he is a step above the usual gutter.

What the heck...you are not going to understand it since you have already equated him to Rex Ryan. So, let me stop adding more to this Urlacher sainthood petition.

Apparently Urlacher having confidence in his own team prior to the game is disrespectful to the Patriots...

A Bears fan I know texted me "you won't have the weather advantage when we meet again in Dallas"

I reminded him that it wasn't suddenly 70 degrees and sunny when the Patriots had the ball.

And that any Bears at the SB will need a ticket!

With all due respect to your friend, how the F was the weather an advantage for US today? We might've beat them by 50 if the game was in 70 degree weather.

It's really sad when fans of other teams just don't understand who the better team is at the end of an absolute drilling like took place today.
