True, no fan base is without sin, but we can do something about this sin of throwing ice balls at opposing teams. That's truly low. If you want to see the Pats take a dive from bad karma build-up, then do stupid stuff like throwing crap at games. That'll bring the team down in a hurry. Guaranteed.

Mangini's a rat. An ungrateful, back-stabbing, sneaky little wonk. He'll pay on the field, where it COUNTS, as long as we stay on the up and up. The minute we go down to his level, we lose. Maybe not yesterday -- we did get by that one, but it was touch and go for a long time -- but eventually we will be dragged down if we do what they do.

The Pats are better than that, and the fans should be, too.

Huh? Have you even read the boards the past twelve hours? I heard of a girl walking with food who was pelted in the head and fell. There were others, also.

No one got hurt when that idiot in California tried to repeatedly shoot his lawyer on that notorious video from 10 feet and completely missed either.

Still a crime.

The folks who threw the snow/iceballs yesterday should have their pictures printed in the newspapers and then sent to their employers. Who will probably have a talk with them (and a pink slip) when they come back from jail.

Make up your mind!
It's not a case of "make up your mind" oldskool. When we say we need to get off our hands and make some noise to support our team, we're talking about being good fans.

Anyone who throws a water soaked iceball can NOT be a good fan. Hopefully you can see we're talking about the difference between being a good fan and a fan who doesn't deserve ticket rights.

You're obviously one of the latter.

You could not tell this on TV at all. I was wondering about the stoppage too. The only time they showed snow flying was after the two touchdowns, when it appeared to be going straight up, not onto the field.

Count me among those who would have been p'o'd if snow balls were thrown at me. I couldn't go to the game yesterday, but my seats are in a covered area, so we don't get much snow. I had to scrounge around at that Miami game a few years back to get some to throw in the air!

Did they ask over the PA system for the snow throwing to stop? They should have done that and threatened to eject anyone caught throwing snowballs at the field or other people.

If you heard Gil and Gino calling the game -- which I highly recommend in lieu of listening to some of these network air-heads -- they reported the cascading of snow and ice balls almost as if it were the Miami game a few years back, but this time being hard-pack icy snow AND that it was being directed *at other people*. Both Gil and Gino were rightly disgusted by the whole affair, and said so.

Even over internet radio I could hear the ref making the announcement: "The game will be halted until the throwing of objects onto the field and bench areas ceases." There was a pause of about 90 seconds, and they made another appeal to stop the stupidity.

The Pats were darn lucky not to get a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike. The fools who engaged in that spoiled child behavior are lucky they didn't get hauled out and booked. If anyone wants "football" thuggery and goons, let 'em come over here to Europe. There's plenty of that crap going on. A bunch of guys from Manchester Utd. just got beaten to blood by the infamous thugs at the Rome soccer stadium; don't worry, the favors are returned when the Italians go to England, I'm sure. Bleh-h (Two thumbs DOWN). Only the latest of a long history. Sucksville. We ABSOLUTELY do NOT need that in the USA.

When the Jets walked off the field at the end of the first half they were absolutely pelted with snowballs which is dumb because i guarantee mostly cops and security got hit. I wish people would focus more on making noise because while the crowd noise was good yesterday it still could have been better.
