Default Brady shouldn't have said anything to Smith

Or whatever his name was.

He's going to the HoF why beat up on a hapless guy. Just let it go.

Same with BB, kind of classless. Why bother with him?

Also, another thought. I think Rodney Harrison needs to teach Pats DBs how to tackle. You don't run up to the guy, stop, then reach out and bear hug him...you run up, use your body as a missile and take his legs out from under him. I saw Harrison give a couple devastating tackles like this...Samuel had a good one at the end of the game. Gay needs to learn this.

Trash talk happens all over the field. If Smith (or you) don't want the Patriots retaliating after the game, then don't say anything stupid before it.

Grow a set.

Maybe if the steelers weren't running there mouths before the game all week long this would of never happened. I loved the way the steelers came up behind Brady and smacked into him real class there let me tell you.

Smith was taunting Brady all through the Pre-game warm-up's (while Brady was stretching).

Sorry pal... I like our QB with a little fire in his belly.

While taking the high road is always the right thing to do...I can't say I would not have reacted the way Brady has. The Steelers talk a lot - not on par with Classy San Diego, but they sure know how to get the opponent's attention. I think it is ok to expose a loser and relish in his demise as long as the Pats/Brady don't make a habit of it.
As for BB, he was asked like 3 consecutive questions about the 'guarantee' and about the player in question - what was he supposed to say, 'No comment.' I say we let it slide from our otherwise tight-lipped bunch.

I've played many.

When you're playing against a retarded guy 5 years younger than you...you let it go.

Sorry, you run your mouth in the media... and then proceed to run your mouth all through out warm-ups.. you're gonna get burned. Maybe Anthony Smith will now (Please be quiet - edited).

Wow! I thought that was one of the best moments of the game. National television with everyone picking the Steelers to win, getting a chance to show up the guy who not only displayed an amazing amount of stupidity during the week leading up to the game, but couldn't defend anything on the field either. That was great entertainment.

I am also sick of the word "class." This is the NFL, the most violent sport in the nation. As a team you are supposed to prepare, execute and do everything you can to dominate your opponent. If that includes exhibiting some swagger, confidence and showmanship, so much the better. Bellichick, Brady, Harrison and others are out to destroy opponents, not win manners prizes. If they were behaving that way when losing, it would be a different story, but they are dominating. Nuff said.
