Anyway, given how Pats fans go ballistic over the Pats' rare 1st-round misfire like Maroney, I'd love to hear what the Colts' fan base thinks.

There have been a lot of people complaining lately about Polian. Mostly because our offensive line is a wreck. After the Super Bowl Polian complained about the o-line and then did nothing to really address it.
The high picks haven't been an issue until Gonzo. With him it's tough, because when he is on the field he is productive, but the guy can't stay on the field. Ugoh is the one the really started people. We agve up a first round pick to draft him. He played decently as a rookie left tackle and then just went in the crapper and eventually got cut. The next year we didn't have out number 1 because of the trade so our first pick was a 2nd with Mike Pollak, who is starting to be OK. Then there is Brown. Talk about high expectations. Leading the NCAA in rushing and coming into a high powered offense, he showed a flash or two and has been dinged and sputtering ever since.
I think Polian still does a really good job and his late round picks and UDFAs have a way of turning in to key players.
